Annual Events & Collaborations

Join the PSU community on and off campus for a variety of annual events and collaborations focusing on specific community issues, days of service, career development, and more!

Along with other campus partners, we host a variety of annual events that bring our campus community together to put a spotlight on certain issues and cultivate a spirit of engagement through service, learning, connection, and reflection. Each of our annual events provide a great opportunity to form connections with other engaged students as you learn, discuss, listen, and serve together to build awareness and work towards positive change around a common cause.

We engage students in a variety of annual events throughout the year. A brief description of each of these events is below. If registration is open for an upcoming event, you'll see a link to learn more and sign up. Join us, as we serve, learn, and lead together!

Alder College Day @ PSU w/ Greater Than

Each Spring, PSU students welcome Alder kindergarteners to campus to give them a glimpse of college life. In collaboration with Greater Than, they help lead interactive activities, share what it’s like to be a college student, and encourage young learners from diverse and multilingual backgrounds.

I enjoyed getting the chance to see how much opportunity actually exists for people who want to become involved in positive social change.

Learned a lot about native plants and got real dirty pulling out invasive plants. All in all, it was a great day.

Awesome experience to show Alder elementary students what college is!
