General liability claims usually involve personal property damage, injury, or related medical expenses to third parties, such as the public, students, or visitors. As of July 1, 2013, general liability claims now have a deductible of $5,000, for which PSU departments are responsible for paying. Third parties who incur property damage, injury, or related medical expenses at the fault of the University must contact PSU's Office of Risk Management.
