While the program emphasizes the business of craft beer brewing, you can build business models for related enterprises such as cideries, distilleries, bottling plants, and growing operations for hops and barley. Also, this program is not just for students who want to open their own businesses, but also for those who want to transition into the industry or are looking to be promoted within the industry.

50+ local Portland, Oregon breweries, distilleries, and ancillary businesses are participating. These include Rogue, Hopworks Urban Brewery, Migration, Ale Apothecary, Bull Run Distilling, Gigantic, Portland Kettle Works, Rose City Labels, and many others.

Online Certificate: Business of Craft Brewing Curriculum

The Business of Craft Brewing online certificate program consists of four five-week courses that are offered two times a year:

No other craft brewing certificate program, whether online or in person, offers a more thorough foundation in the business side of craft brewing.

Certificate programs are not eligible for financial aid.
