  1. Dacian Daescu, Mathematics and Statistics faculty, received a $298,737 grant from NASA for the research “Flow-Dependent Optimization of the Observation Performance in NASA GEOS Hybrid 4D-EnVar ADAS.”
  2. Kevin Kecskes, Public Administration faculty, and Christopher Carey, Criminology and Criminal Justice faculty, received a $239,683 Department of State Middle Eastern Partnership Initiative grant. In its eleventh year of partnership with the College of Urban and Public Affairs, the initiative is designed to help Middle Eastern young people build leadership and problem-solving skills through academic, experiential and community service activities.
