Associate Professor Courtney Hermann's 2017 short film BURTON BEFORE AND AFTER was selected by curators Mickey Mahoney (Director, Actor, and Creative Consultant on the Showtime TV series WORK IN PROGRESS) and Lilly Wachowski (Writer on BOUND, THE MATRIX, and CLOUD ATLAS) for the "Trans Shorts Under the Stars" screening on Saturday, May 4th at the Maryland Film Festival.
