The College of the Arts presents a conversation series on the intersection of creative practice and social justice.

At this brown-bag discussion hosted by the College of the Arts and Dean Leroy Bynum, Jr., Kate Bingaman-Burt, professor in the Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design, Anna Goodman, professor in the School of Architecture, and Coty Raven Morris, professor in the School of Music & Theater, share their experiences with creating intersectional communities in their teaching and art practics. Kate Bingaman-Burt discusses the use of community learners agreements in the pedagogical setting. Anna Goodman talks about her work on reconstructive pedagogy. Coty Raven Morris shares her work with her Being Human Together initiative. Courtney Hermann, director of the School of Film, moderates the discussion.

This event is the third brown-bag conversation in a yearlong series, "The Arts at the Vanguard of Change," presented by the College of the Arts.

Brown-bag events in this series are free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community.
