Drop-in Advising

Extended Drop-in Hours Available During First Week of Fall Term!

In-person drop-in hours will be extended during the first week of fall term. Stop by the locations in the chart below for assistance during thes hours:

Monday, September 29: 9am-4pm
Tuesday, September 30: 9am-4pm
Wednesday, October 1: 9am-4pm
Thursday, October 3: 9am-4pm

Undergraduate Academic Advising offers drop-in advising regularly in all advising pathways. Drop-in advising is intended for quick questions that can be answered in 15 minutes or less. Examples of what an advisor can help you with on drop-in include:

  • Reviewing your current or upcoming class schedule
  • Explaining graduation requirements
  • Helping you connect with campus resources

If you need long-term planning or have multiple topics to discuss, please schedule an appointment with an advisor in your pathway. Drop-in advising does not satisfy the First-Year Advising requirement.

Are you a prospective student looking for guidance about transferring to PSU? Are you a previous PSU student wishing to return? If so, advisors in the Transfer and Returning Student Resource Center offer drop-in as well. If you want to do course planning or learn specifics about a program, meet with a Pathway advisor above, but for general advice about transferring or returning to PSU, the TRSRC advisors are here for you!
