Accreditation
The MURP program has been an accredited program by the Planning Accreditation Board (PAB) for decades, with the most recent 7-year accreditation awarded in 2019-2020 through 2027.
The program is currently undergoing reaccreditation.This evaluative process ensures that our curriculum, faculty, and institutional support continue to meet the highest standards of professional planning education. As a key component of this review, the program’s Self-Study Report (June 2026) has been finalized and is now available for viewing. We encourage students, alumni, and community partners to review the report as we continue our commitment to excellence in urban and regional planning.

In addition, the MURP program will host a site visit with peer reviewers/PAB representatives from November 2 - November 4, 2026, and there will be opportunities for students, alumni, and partners to engage with the site visit team. More detailed information will be shared in the coming weeks.
