The Jim Sells Childcare Subsidy Program has been going through some major adjustments and is transitioning to the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. These changes will ultimately simplify the process for you, our student parents. There are a few more details to iron out and we expect the application will be available in early November 2023. We know this delay has been difficult for student parents and we apologize for that.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and there will be a priority submission date of November 20. Funds will be disbursed starting during winter term, January 2024. In the meantime, please visit the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care’s website to learn about child care assistance programs.
