We Invite You to Host an Activity For
Bring Your Kids to Campus Day
Calling for Activity Station Hosts
PSU’s Bring Your Kids to Campus Day is a day-long, campus-wide celebration inviting students, staff, faculty, and their children to campus for events and activities. The event is sponsored by the Resource Center for Students with Children and is scheduled for Monday, April 10th, 2023 from 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. This is a non-instructional day for Portland Public Schools and the event is open to families of all PSU students, staff, and faculty. After a 3-year hiatus, we are excited to bring back this event to the PSU community!
We invite all departments, student groups, and clubs to participate in Bring Your Kids to Campus Day by holding “activity stations” to give children exposure to campus life in an approachable setting. Children will be accompanied by their parents for all activities. Activities should be scheduled in a flexible, drop-in style, (rather than specific classes or activities which require everyone to be there at the beginning and stay until the end) so that attendees may participate in the activity as their schedule allows, and be accessible to a wide range of ages. We have the Smith Student Union Ballroom reserved from 9:30-10:30 am for anyone who needs space for their activity station. We are happy to help with ideas, logistics, and supplies if you need them.
