Extreme Makeover: SPHR is Moving after 53 years in Neuberger Basement! Read below to learn about how you can support our move. Thank you.

Extreme Makeover: Speech & Hearing Edition

Help us raise $10,000 in one month for the PSU Speech & Hearing Department!

After 53 years in the basement of Neuberger Hall, the Speech & Hearing Sciences Department is moving to the 4th floor of the University Center Building! Our new department location will feature a dedicated clinic reception area, more group clinic rooms, meeting areas, and redesigned research labs and student spaces. Demolition has begun on the new space (see picture above) and we are counting down the weeks until the move.

We need your help to make this space great! You can help us reach our fundraising goal by donating AND by sharing this email with your friends, neighbors, and family. Together, we can make this the most extreme makeover of the Speech & Hearing Sciences Department!

Your tax-deductible donation can allow us to:

1. Create a waiting room with clean, inviting furniture that functions as a community space for clients, families, and professionals.

2. Construct child-friendly spaces in the clinic that encourage play as a domain of instruction (e.g., sensory gym/room).

3. Ensure our clients and their families have accessibple parking and/or reduced transportation costs.

Every single dollar makes a difference. No donation is too small.
