The OHSU Hospital and Clinics are Oregon’s main clinical teaching facilities for the next generation of health care professionals. Patients come from as far away as Alaska, Montana, and California but most are from Oregon. In addition to providing primary and secondary care services to residents of the Portland area, OHSU Hospital is a major tertiary referral center, particularly in areas of transplantation (kidney, heart, liver, bone marrow), cardiology, oncology, trauma, interventional radiology, obstetrics and ophthalmology.
The Oak Savanna is a reclaimed outdoor space on the PSU campus that was guided by student voices and their desire to experience and understand the cultural significance and value of connection with the land to heal and build community health and resilience, the Oak Savanna site was incorporated into Indigenous Nations Studies courses centered in Indigenous Traditional Ecological and Cultural Knowledge (ITECK). They include Indigenous Gardens and Food Justice, Indigenous Ecological Healing Practices, and Indigenous Leadership for Sustainability.

The Joseph E. Robertson, Jr. Collaborative Life Sciences Building, or Robertson Collaborative Life Sciences Building, (RLSB) is a jointly owned and operated collaborative facility bringing together Portland State University (PSU), Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and Oregon State University (OSU) on OHSU's Schnitzer Campus along Portland's South Waterfront. PSU's portion of RLSB includes 17 teaching labs, a 406-seat lecture hall, research labs, offices, and work stations.
950 SW College Street
The PSU Research Greenhouse is a 5,000 square foot aluminum and polycarbonate facility south of the Peter Stott Center. In a remarkable achievement for a plant growth facility, the Research Greenhouse achieved LEED Silver certification for energy efficiency and sustainability through the use of sophisticated environmental controls and innovative architecture. The space is primarily used by the Biology department for research, labs, and courses.

The SRTC is home to the Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and Management, and Physics departments as well as the Museum of Natural History, a permanent skeletal articulation and rotating invertebrate exhibits are showcased in the first and second floor lobbies of the Science Research and Teaching Center.

The Vanport Building (VB) is shared between Portland State University, the City of Portland, Portland Community College, and Oregon Health & Science University and houses PSU's College of Education and the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.

VSC — as we call it in typical PSU acronym fashion — is home to state-of-the-art teaching labs, classrooms and learning spaces; easily accessible student supports; and culturally affirming spaces. Students — in particular, Black, Indigenous and students of color — were deeply involved in the building’s visioning and design phases, and it was their hope that you’d find it to be a place where you feel a sense of belonging.
