*Equity Ambassador

Equity ambassadors come to the role having experience as a PSU Search Advocate, Intercultural U Graduate, and/or Leadership Academy graduate.  Equity ambassadors are volunteer partners/consultants and participants embedded in the work group who advance equity and justice by asking questions to help work group members test their thinking and assumptions, identifying and promoting practices that advance equity and social justice, and minimizing the impacts of cognitive and structural biases on the strategic planning process.  In partnership with the work group leadership, the equity ambassador affirms PSU's commitment to racial equity and justice, and inclusive excellence.
