Connecting PSU and the World

Welcome to the Office of International Affairs!

We bring the world and Portland State University together by serving our international students, scholars, and faculty, as well as our U.S. students and faculty studying, interning and teaching abroad.

November 2018 - Tribute to the life and work of Paula Harris

paula harris
Paula Harris, a beloved International Student Advisor in the Office of International Student and Scholar Services, sadly passed away July 2018. During her 20 year career at PSU, she has been a steadfast supporter of our international student population. To honor Paula and acknowledge her passion for helping students, we have worked with the Foundation to rename our student aid fund The Paula Harris International Student Aid Fund. These funds provide cash assistance to international students who find themselves in a temporary period of economic hardship while here at PSU. Please consider making a donation in her name so the newly minted Paula Harris International Student Aid Fund becomes a sustainable tribute to our dear friend and colleague. Visit this PSU Foundaton site to donate.
