Scholarship Opportunities for Gerontology Students
This scholarship is made possible by a gift from PSU alumni Drs. Keren Brown Wilson and Michael DeShane. Keren and Michael are pioneers in the development of services for older adults and people with disabilities, and they have devoted their lives to helping those with limited means age with dignity.
For 2025-26, up to $10,000 is available to support between five and seven students. Awards are available for up to $1,000 per term or $2,000 per academic year. Applications are open for funding beginning in the Winter Quarter, with the following quarterly deadlines for each funding cycle:
- Winter: December 15, 2025
- Spring: February 15, 2026
- Summer: May 15, 2026
