Cassie is a Peer Support Specialist at Cascadia Health's Urgent Walk-in Clinic, where she uses her lived experience to support individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. After overcoming domestic violence, addiction, incarceration, and homelessness, she has transformed her past into a source of strength and guidance for others. A graduate of Portland State University with Bachelor's Degrees in Business Management and Human Resources Management, Cassie combines professional expertise with deep empathy to help individuals build fulfilling lives. Her commitment to community service is evident in her volunteer work with Go the Distance, a recovery-based running group, and her role as House Manager at a Miracles Club Transitional House, where she provides support to African American women in recovery. Cassie strives to make a lasting impact on those she serves, fostering resilience and hope within the community.
