Becky Lange was a tireless advocate for those experiencing homelessness. Her advocacy helped many people. She helped get the Kenton’s Women village up and going. When she was passionate about a project, she would keep working until she figured out how to make it happen. Becky was passionate about the Pathways study, both as a strong driving force in the TREES committee, and as an advocate for empathy and meaningful change for those experiencing homelessness.
Becky’s life was brutally cut short as we were working to finish the Pathways project. Becky wanted to be able to be safe. She wanted to grow a garden and have her pets. She wanted to be some place to be on her own, to be home. We dedicate the Pathways report in Becky’s memory, to all of those who have lost their lives while traveling their own pathways towards housing, and remind all of us to work towards helping all of our vulnerable friends and neighbors.
