Professional Scope

As the Education Abroad Coordinator for Education Abroad & Off-Campus Programs in OGEI, I work with PSU students, faculty, staff, and global partners to support and expand education abroad opportunities. I coordinate major outreach and recruitment efforts, including Education Abroad Fairs, International Education Week, orientations, information sessions, and campus-wide events. I also support student advising, scholarships, School of Record services, program administration, and cross-campus initiatives. In addition, I manage key Education Abroad systems and data, including program and enrollment reporting, web content, and Terra Dotta/VikingsAbroad functionality and training. My work connects students with opportunities to study abroad while ensuring programs, events, and administrative processes are well-coordinated and effectively communicated across campus and with external partners.

• Education Abroad Events & Outreach — Education Abroad Fairs, International Education Week, orientations, information sessions, and campus-wide recruitment events
• Student Advising & Support — Initial advising, application support, program information, and referrals to Education Abroad advisors
• Scholarships & Funding — Scholarship promotion, application processes, award tracking, and student follow-up

Global & Cultural Engagement

• Languages Spoken: English (birth language); German (fluent); Spanish (developing)
• Global Experience: Extensive professional experience in international education, including study abroad program development and student services in Germany, India, Argentina, and China. Former Area Director and Student Services Coordinator with Global Education Oregon; lived and worked in Germany and studied International/Global Studies and German at PSU.
