Mark Weislogel

Professor

Dr. Mark Weislogel is a Professor in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department in the Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science at Portland State University. Dr. Weislogel’s technical specialties include fluid-thermal/Fluid-sciences, capillary fluidics, macroscale and microscale capillary-driven flows in complex geometries, passive cooling systems, microscale thermal devices, microgravity fluid mechanics, and applications to spacecraft fluid systems and terrestrial microfluidic systems.

Dr. Weislogel makes frequent use of low-g facilities such as drop towers and the International Space Station to conduct fundamental and applied research related to fluid phenomena in space. Special applications to spacecraft fluid systems and terrestrial microfluidic systems are considerable.
