Course Withdrawal and Tuition Refund Policy

Please note that the Center's course withdrawal and tuition refund policy for credit and non-credit courses and workshops differs from the typical university policy. Unless otherwise stated for a specific program, the Center's general policy is as follows:

Written request to drop/withdraw from a course received by the Program Coordinator by 5pm, 7 business days prior to the first class (Minus any applicable non-refundable fees and $100 administration charge) 100% tuition refund
Written request to drop/withdraw from a course received by the Program Coordinator prior to the participant attending the second class: (Minus any applicable non-refundable fees and $100 administration charge) 40% tuition refund
Written request to drop/withdraw from a course received by the Program Coordinator after a participant has attended the second class 0% tuition refund

All drops and withdrawals must be processed by Center for Public Service staff. Please notify the Program Coordinator in writing when you need to drop or withdraw from a course. The date used for purposes of granting refunds shall be the date the Program Coordinator receives written notification from the student of their intent to drop.

If a course is cancelled by the Center for Public Service, students will receive a 100% refund with no penalties.
