We tell Portland State's story.

Our mission is to promote PSU, grow our local and national reputation, enhance enrollment and keep the PSU community informed. We market and promote PSU to prospective students and their families, community leaders and the public. We take the lead on strategic and crisis communications and provide support for campus units.

Marketing: Manages PSU's brand, coordinates marketing strategies across campus, oversees external and internal promotions and advertising. 

Media relations: Produces content and promotes news coverage related to PSU. Handles media requests and crisis communications. 

Internal communications: Keeps the campus community and our alumni informed through Portland State Magazine, Currently, Virtual Viking and social media. 

Web communications: Oversees content on and other top-level sites, works with schools and colleges to support their content, and provides Enterprise CMS training.

Creative services: Designs and produces print and digital projects, advertising and marketing materials, videos and photography. Monitors PSU style and message standards.
