Ways to Engage
As a student resource center, it is our goal to involve queer and trans students, faculty/staff, and alumni in our processes as often and as thoughtfully as possible. We have paid and volunteer options to work with us, volunteer in the center and in programming, develop internships, and join our advisory board. Volunteering & Interning
We love our volunteers, we love it when you plan events, help out at the front desk, table at events with us, and do internships with us. It’s a great way to build connections, create community, and develop your skills and practices and ours.Volunteers help us plan events like Trans Empowerment Resistance and Resilience Month (TEMPRR) in Fall Term, Sex Week in Winter Term, the Queer Students of Color Conference (QSOCC) in Winter/Spring Terms, and Pride Month in Spring term. Volunteers also helped us plan our first Queer Museum of Art, regular HIV testing, and more. We are excited to welcome all types of commitments and offer volunteer trainings to all new volunteers. We welcome all intern inquiries and will do our best to meet your internship needs. Check out the links to get involved and please click to complete the interest form.
