Affinity Groups What are Affinity Groups? Affinity Groups are spaces where students with a shared identity or hobby can discuss their experiences, support each other, and build community with peers who relate to them. Typically, Affinity Groups meet weekly, and they are led by volunteers. If you are looking for a group that we do not yet have, please let us know, and consider volunteering as a facilitator or co-facilitator. We have regular facilitator trainings so that potential leaders can gain confidence in hosting a group. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator by emailing qrcvol@pdx.edu. If you're not quite sure if a group is for you, we encourage you to contact the facilitator!
