Queer Students of Color Conference
What is QSOCC?
QSOCC is the Queer Students of Color Conference. We created and began hosting QSOCC in 2011 as a free and low cost multi day conference that centers the work and experiences of Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, and Students of Color. Workshops, keynotes speakers, caucus spaces, community meals, and more, make this event special, and the students and community attendees make it great. Find out information about past conferences, the upcoming QSOCC, and how to get involved below.
Join Queer and Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color from across the country for PSU's 10th Annual Queer Students of Color Conference this May 28th-30th, 2021. This year's conference will be entirely virtual with keynote speakers, workshops, community building, and more. PSU Students who register for QSOCC will be entered into a raffle to win one of six $50 prizes. Raffles will take place after the conference.
Submit a Workshop
We invite students and community members to join the 2021 Queer Students of Color Conference in hosting a virtual workshop. QSOCC holds several breakout sessions throughout the conference with many opportunities for workshop hosting. Submit up to 5 workshops as a group, or as an individual. Proposals are due March 26, 2021 at 5 pm PST. Please reach out to email@example.com with questions or for support. All selected workshops will be entered in a raffle to win one of six $50 prizes.
The Queer Students of Color Conference went virtual 2020! The "QSOCC 9.5 Virtual Experience" took place on Friday, April 24th 2020 with live workshops, discussion rooms to build community, and a live performance.
