Profiles Prabhas Pokharel

Prabhas Pokharel, MA (he/him)

Prabhas is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Public Affairs and Policy program at Portland State University, specializing in energy policy and collaborative governance for his dissertation research. 

As part of NPCC's research team, Prabhas explores topics including collaborative governance, civic leadership, and the role of artificial intelligence. He actively engages with current literature and emerging trends in collaborative governance to support and enhance the quality of NPCC’s ongoing and future research initiatives. 

He holds a master’s degree in development studies and a bachelor’s degree in media studies. Prior to his doctoral studies, Prabhas worked as a Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation Officer with the Foundation for Development Management. He has also conducted research and evaluation projects for several international NGOs, including the British Council, The Asia Foundation, and Save the Children."
