Growing up in the Willamette Valley, Kim has cultivated strong roots here and cares deeply about Oregon. Kim graduated from Portland State University with both her undergraduate degree in environmental science and her Master’s in Urban & Regional Planning. While at PSU she discovered the Collaborative Governance certificate program and quickly gravitated to the National Policy Consensus Center community, ultimately finding this calling. She is grateful to work with an incredible team at Oregon Solutions and be a part of fostering collaborative processes statewide. 

Kim has worked at the Columbia River Gorge Stewardship Network as the Network coordinator, the Department of Environmental Quality as a Natural Resource Specialist, and at a variety of other positions including as an environmental educator, field biologist, and environmental planner. She brings with her community mindedness, analytical expertise, and a background in process facilitation. Outside of work, Kim can be found with her husband and young daughter adventuring outdoors, doing messy artwork, and sharing stories.
