About
Before arriving in Portland from Israel in 2016, Sharon Erez-Shai spent 20 years in a leading professional role in the Israeli Prime Minister's office. She later worked at the Silicon Valley-based Israel-United States Binational Industrial Research and Development Foundation.
Sharon joined PSU in 2018 as an adjunct senior instructor in Modern Hebrew. Her courses combine language skills with content derived from the Jewish and Israeli traditions. Classes are both structured and dynamic, with the goal to expand the different forms of communication - listening, speaking, reading and writing skills - in a fun and supportive environment.
