  13. Eva Núñez, world languages and literatures faculty, published the book titled “Sociolinguistic Approaches to Sibilant Variation in Spanish” with Routledge.
  14. Ryan Petteway, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, published three poems, “Revelations 20:20,” “The Breathing Dark” and “Shanghai,” which sit at the intersections of racialized police violence, COVID-19, structural racism, healing and resistance. The poems were published in the Spring/Summer 2021 issue of Kithe Journal.

Aaron Roussell, sociology faculty, co-presented with co-author Luis Daniel Gascón on their book “The Limits of Community Policing: Civilian Power and Police Accountability in Black and Brown Los Angeles” for the Author Meets Reader Panel with Theresa Rocha Beardall and Jamie Longazel with the Law & Society Association annual meeting.
  16. Jack Straton, physics and university studies faculty, had one of his photographs chosen to be part of “Purely Abstract 2021,” an international joint show of all fine art media at the Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach, California, May 6-29.
