  1. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, co-authored the article “Equity in Human Adaptation-Related Responses: A Systematic Global Review” in One Earth.
  2. Anita Bright, education faculty, published an article on “Teacher Preparation in the Shadow of Loss: The Blurring of Transacting, Transforming and Transgressing” in the Journal of Narrative and Language Studies.
  3. TJ Brown, anthropology, Justin Junge MS ’17 and Jonathan Duelks ’16, co-authored a paper on “Bayesian Assessment of Northern Alaskan Chronological Issues: Implications for Future Research” in Journal of Island and Coastal Archaeology. 
  4. Jill Emery, library faculty, co-authored an article on “Electronic Resource Management in a Post-plan S World” in Insights: the UKSG Journal.
  5. Emily Ford, library faculty, published the book “Stories of Open: Opening Peer Review Through Narrative Inquiry,” with ACRL press and also available in PDXScholar.
  6. Clive Knights, architecture faculty, published an article "Autochthonous Cities and Other Liminal Works" in Kolaj magazine. 
  7. Janice Lee, English faculty, published a new novel titled “Imagine a Death” with Texas Review Press. 
  8. Masami Nishishiba, chair of the Department of Public Administration, published a co-edited Japanese-English bilingual book titled “Let Knowledge Serve the City: How Portland State University engages in community problem-solving through community-based learning” (Hituji Shobo, Tokyo). Contributing Portland State chapter authors include: Stephen Percy, PSU president; Judith Ramaley, president emerita and current Board of Trustees member; Sy Adler, interim dean of the College of Urban and Public Affairs; Sherril Gelmon, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty; Christine Cress, education faculty; Kevin Kecskes, public administration faculty; Celine Fitzmaurice, university studies; Amy Spring, director for Research and Graduate Studies; Nariyo Kono, government; and Yachi Iisako, International Program coordinator. This book is a result of an international collaboration between PSU and Ryukoku University, Japan.
  9. Rachel Noorda, English faculty, published a book titled “Entrepreneurial Identity in U.S. Book Publishing in the Twenty-First Century” with Cambridge University Press.
  10. Janelle Voegele, director of teaching, learning and assessment for the Office of Academic Innovation and Raiza Dottin, associate director of teaching, learning and assessment for the Office of Academic Innovation, co-authored the article "Adaptive and Active: The Integration of Adaptive Courseware Through the Lens of Blended Learning" in Blended Learning: Research Perspectives, vol. 3.
