Decorate your mortar board and win!
Decorate your grad cap and enter it in the 2023 Grad Cap Contest! The contest, a partnership with the PSU Alumni Association, will consist of a bracket-style vote-off the week before our commencement ceremonies.
How to enter
Show and tag
- Share a public photo of your decorated graduation cap using the hashtag #2023pdxgrad.
- Entries can be submitted on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.
- Social media posts shared privately will not be entered because they will not be seen.
- A committee will then choose the top caps to enter the public competition and seed them for a bracket-style vote-off. PSU followers will vote on their favorite caps through our PSU Instagram stories.
Prizes
Four Grand Prizes
A $75 Amazon gift card and a PSU swag bag will be awarded to the individual whose cap gets the most votes at the end of the voting period.
Four runner ups
Four runner ups will receive a PSU T-shirt and swag.
Contest timeline
- Submissions will be accepted until June 5 at 5 p.m
- Voting on IG stories begins June 7, and the winner will be crowned on or before June 12
- Winners will be notified by June 12 at 5 p.m.
