This year the College of the Arts holds its ceremony on Friday, June 14 and The School of Business holds three ceremonies on Saturday, June 15 at Viking Pavilion. The professional schools and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences hold their ceremonies on Sunday, June 16 at Moda Center.

Participation
Faculty who would like to participate in the professional schools and/or College of Liberal Arts and Sciences ceremonies at Moda Center are invited to attend and lead graduates into the arena by major/certificate within each college/school. Regalia is required to participate. When you arrive, proceed to Ex Hall where you will be matched with your graduates. No sign-up required for this role. Please organize within your college/school.
Tickets
No tickets are required for faculty to attend any PSU commencement ceremony in 2024. Please bring your PSU ID for admittance.

Faculty regalia is now available for order for the 2024 commencement ceremonies.
- Masters Regalia (Tam, Gown, Tassel and Hood) — $85
- Ph.D. Regalia (Tam, Gown, Tassel and Hood) — $120
Please place your order online with our cap and gown vendor, Royal-T/Herff Jones. Make sure to search for Portland State University. You will select your advanced degree alma mater at checkout.
AAUP-represented faculty are eligible for a rental and purchasing reimbursement through the union. Get reimbursement info.
Faculty luncheon
All faculty are invited to join the faculty luncheon on Sunday, June 16, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. in the Rose Room. Bring your PSU ID for entry. No RSVPs are necessary.
The faculty luncheon will provide a time for faculty to relax between ceremonies and to celebrate the 2024 Faculty and Staff Excellence Award winners as well as the accomplishments of the PSU Faculty Senate. We look forward to seeing you there.
Hooding
As in years past, only doctoral candidates will be hooded at the combined ceremonies. If you are a dissertation chair and have a doctoral student participating in a commencement ceremony, you will receive an email by early June with details on how to participate.
