Tips for avoiding the most common registration issues
- Students are led through the registration process via the preferred email account that they enter initially. If they aren’t receiving PSU communications, they should check their spam and trash folders.
- The application process can take up to three business days to complete. Students should start early to avoid missing the Registration deadline.

Financial Aid
- An uploaded form triggers the reduced amount for financial aid students. Eligible students should not submit their registration request until a financial aid document has been uploaded. Financial Aid form.
Students eligible for financial aid will not be refunded if they submit a registration without documentation and pay the full price.
Payment
- Payment link is sent to the student’s email and is accessed via their log in credentials (user name and password). Parents cannot access the payment link without the student’s user name and password.
- Challenge will no longer accept checks or money orders from students. Students without access to credit cards can purchase pre-paid Visa or Mastercard gift cards. They should remember to purchase an amount sufficient to include the 2% credit card processing fee.
- Schools wishing to submit payment on behalf of students must contact Challenge and arrange to have the check picked up by a Challenge representative before the registration deadline or students will not be registered. Please note that in these cases students still need to complete the online registration process to the point of payment.
