LEAD | CONNECT | VOLUNTEER Student Activities and Leadership Programs' mission is to enrich and integrate students' leadership and academic experiences in order to educate students to be ethical, socially just, and civically engaged leaders on campus and in their larger communities.

Getting involved on campus helps students feel connected, meet new people, and make lasting change.

Who knows? You may be the next student leader. Student leaders are an essential part of Portland State University. They run student organizations; manage services, publications, and even a radio station; sit on important Univeristy committees; allocate Student Fee money; and run Student Government.

Definition of Student Leader:

A student leader, whether in a formal position or not, nurtures abilities in themselves and others in order to make an ethical and socially just impact on campus or in the larger community.
