  1. Jola Ajibade, Geography faculty, gave a panel talk on “Reflections on Justice, Decision Making, and Success in Global Relocation Programs” at the People on the Move in a Changing Climate Alaska, Pacific Northwest, Pacific Islands, and International Workshop on April 12 in Anchorage, Alaska. 
  2. Anita Bright, Education faculty, presented a paper titled, “Teaching English in Palestine: Building Trusting Relationships” at the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages Arabia conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 
  3. Berrin Erdogan, Business faculty, presented “Perceived Overqualification in the Workplace” March 29 at University of Exeter Business School in Exeter, England. 
  4. John Hall, Economics faculty, attended the annual World Social Science Association Meeting and presented the paper: “Thorstein Veblen's ‘Common Man’ and Friedrich Nietzsche’s ‘Last Man” from April 13-15 in Tempe, Arizona. 
  5. Maurice Hamington, Philosophy and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies faculty, presented “Care Ethics and Social Science Research” April 13 for the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Goa, India.
  6. Sarah Newlands and Michelle Swinehart, University Studies faculty, presented “Work of Art: Springboard for Inquiry,” April 14 at the Foundations in Art: Theory and Education 2023 conference.
  7. J.J.P. Veerman, Mathematics and Statistics faculty, gave a talk titled “Rank Driven Evolutionary Dynamical Systems” April 10 at the Colloquium in the Physics Department at PSU.
