College of the Arts Tours
We offer two tour specialties: Art, Art History, Design, and Architecture, and Film, Music and Theater. On both tours, a friendly Student Ambassador will lead you on a 90-minute walking tour of the creative heart of Portland State University. You will meet knowledgeable faculty and staff and see our exciting programs and spaces in action
On the College of the Arts' tour of the School of Architecture and Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design, you will see Shattuck Hall, Fariborz Maseeh Hall and the Art Building. In these buildings, you'll see the architecture and art studios, maker spaces, digital labs and classrooms where the students and faculty in our art, art history, graphic design, and architecture programs learn, collaborate, and practice.
On the College of the Arts' Schools of Film and Music & Theater tour, you will see inside Lincoln Hall. On this tour, you'll see the rehearsal halls, practice rooms, performances spaces, film studios, equipment rooms, labs and classrooms where the students and faculty in the Schools of Film and Music & Theater create and thrive.
