Slate

Service Description

Slate is an enterprise-level Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application used to manage relationships with prospective and current students. Slate offers automated email communications, management and tracking of interactions, data reporting and visualizations, and integration with other applications.

Service Details

PSU has two instances of Slate:

  • Slate for Admissions
    • Used to recruit and admit credit-bearing undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree-seeking students 
    • Available at apply.pdx.edu/manage
  • Slate for Student Success
    • Used for advising, tracking, and communicating with current PSU students and for student success-related initiatives
    • The Advising and Student Success Portal is available at slate.pdx.edu/portal/success_dash and the Slate Workspace is available at slate.pdx.edu/manage

PSU departments who support credit-bearing programs for prospective or current students can request to use Slate.

If your department is already using Slate, you can request access to Slate for Student Success by submitting a CRM Support form, or request access to Slate for Admissions by submitting an OAM Access Request (OAR) at oam.pdx.edu.
