In support of PSU’s response to digital accessibility, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is offering a one-year pilot of Foxit PDF Editor to PSU employees at no cost to departments. At the conclusion of the pilot, OIT will return to our existing offering, providing Foxit licenses to departments as a pass-through cost. You are invited to request a Foxit PDF Editor license at any time between now and March 15, 2027. Licenses will be distributed within two weeks of the request, and will expire at the end of the pilot program, unless renewed with the associated pass-through cost to departments.
A professional PDF editor like Foxit is required to validate and remediate most PDFs for digital accessibility. For more information about how to use Foxit, reference:
Key Pilot Details
- This one-year pilot program will be available from April 2026 through March 15, 2027
- If you have already purchased a Foxit license:
- We unfortunately cannot reimburse your purchase
- We will communicate with you toward the end of your license contract and move you over to the pilot program, if interested
- After you request a license, OIT will distribute Foxit PDF Editor to you within two weeks, with follow-up communications
