Cameron Pierce is the Sales Manager at Fort George Distribution, the wholesale division of Fort George Brewery in Astoria, Oregon. Before stepping over to the wholesale division, he was a manager in Fort George's high-volume public house, a city block featuring a fireside taproom, upstairs pizzeria, and traditional pub.
Prior to pursuing a career in the craft beverage industry, Cameron was a full-time writer and editor. His most recent book is the anthology Taut Lines: Extraordinary True Fishing Stories (Little, Brown UK). In 2011, his short story collection Lost in Cat Brain Land (Eraserhead Press) was awarded the Wonderland Book Award. In 2015, he served as the Mellon scholar-in-residence at Rhodes University in South Africa.
