Investiture is a formal ceremony marking the inauguration of a new president. President Ann Cudd joins Portland State University bringing with her the experience of an accomplished career in academic and leadership positions at urban serving universities.
President Cudd is a champion of Portland’s renaissance. Her initial months at PSU were to oversee a strategic planning process to ensure that the university will serve the city in new ways for generations to come. She is also engaging with campus leaders to explore what it means to be a Minority Serving University as PSU embraces its majority BIPOC student population and leans into its role as the most innovative and diverse university in Oregon.
