Join us for a two-week faculty-led program in Edinburgh, Scotland, a city with a rich literary history and thriving publishing industry. Explore the past, present, and future of books through site visits, guest lectures, hands-on workshops, and conversations with publishing professionals.
From editorial and marketing to the creative industries, you’ll gain firsthand insight into how the Scottish publishing industry operates while exploring literary landmarks—including the birthplace of Harry Potter—and experiencing the city of Edinburgh as your classroom.
Open to students from many majors, this program is especially suited for students interested in English, creative writing, communication, book publishing, marketing, media studies, international studies, library science, and the arts.
