Advising and Tutoring

Faculty Advising

Faculty advisors primarily support students with major-specific advising which may also include potential careers and professional opportunities within the discipline:

  • General advising
  • Transfer evaluations
  • Secondary education
  • Graduation checks

Pathway Advising

Physics is part of the Engineering, Computer Science, Math & Physics Pathway. Students are assigned to a pathway advisor based on the last two digits of their PSU ID number.

Pathway advisors are available to assist with university general education (University Studies or Honors) and degree requirements, assist with academic standing issues and petitions, and provide referrals to various campus services.
