Our group performs research involving high voltage discharges, the effect on materials under high fields and high currents (transient fields and currents), as well as safety instruction in the use of high fields. Our group often has to create large electric fields in order to test reactor designs. We have developed several Marx generators, Cockcroft Walton Multipliers, HV DC supplies, and RF generators. As of late, we have been looking into novel DC electrostatic generator design.
