Our program hosts a variety of seasonal events that are open to our campus community and the public. These include Salmon bakes, opportunities to tend the PSU Oak Savanna, and occasional workshops, presentations and community forums. Note that events labeled “CBL” refer to community-based learning opportunities at partner sites for our students. These are typically also open to the public!

Event etiquette: We are able to host Salmon bakes thanks to beloved culture keepers, Christine and Clifton Bruno, and our Salmon relatives. Show them the utmost respect, and always allow Indigenous Elders, expectant parents, and those with small children to be served first after the blessing.
Finally, show love to Oak Savanna by disposing of any trash, bringing only service animals, and disposing of their waste in the receptacle on site.
