Charge
Faculty Senate created this ad-hoc committee in April 2018 with the following charge:
The AHC-URO is created in order "to get a better understanding of URO [undergraduate research opportunities] at PSU and elsewhere, and to develop recommendations for consideration by Faculty Senate. The AHC-URO will explore:
* Current practices at PSU
* New initiatives or development/improvement of current practices to get undergraduates more involved in research, including in disciplines perceived as overlooked in this area, especially the humanities
* Ways/structures to sustain these practices over time.
A May 2020 resolution extended the charge of the committee through Fall 2020 term.
