Online Training

OCCD offers several online training sessions specific to Oregon childhood care and education. To view our available courses, visit Learning with OCCD online training. Courses include those which may be required for licensing by the Department of Early Learning and Care's Child Care Licensing Division and the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS):

Self-Study Training

The Department of Early Learning and Care (DELC) offers a self-study option for the following courses:

Online and Self-Study Training not offered by OCCD, DELC, or an Oregon Registry Trainer Program registered Sponsoring Organization must meet quality requirements outlined in the Oregon Registry: Training and Education Criteria and the content must link to Oregon's Core Knowledge Categories. Please refer to our Online Training Agencies Accepted in ORO documents below for help determining if a training you take online is accepted in ORO:

Self-Study Instructions

To receive credit for self-study trainings, you must: 
1. Read the training information.
2. Complete all the activities. The activities are private and will not be shared. 
3. Submit the quiz and evaluation at the end to the Oregon Center for Career Development (OCCD) in one of the following ways:
   - Scan or take a photo the completed quiz and evaluation portions of the self-study and attach to an email to: centerline@pdx.edu 
   - Print a scanned copy or photo of the completed quiz and evaluation portions of the self-study and mail to OCCD, using: PSU-OCCD Attention: Self Study PO Box 751 Portland, OR 97207-075.
