Become a Certified Trainer

Becoming an Oregon Registry Trainer is voluntary and the application process is explained in the Oregon Registry Trainer Application. Oregon Registry Trainer Program (ORTP) staff will support you along your path to become a certified trainer. Additionally, you would be joining a community of trainers. ORTP certification is valid for three years with a simple renewal process. We actively seek bilingual trainers, especially those fluent in Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, and Chinese.
