Every week during the academic year, Currently celebrates faculty and staff accomplishments, including appearances on panels, presentations, recent publications or performances, and research grants.

  1. Kathi Inman Berens, English faculty, was shortlisted for the 2020 N. Katherine Hayles Award for Criticism of Electronic Literature for her edited collection, “Creative Making As Creative Writing,” published in the Journal of Creative Writing Studies.
  2. Tom Hastings, conflict resolution faculty, was quoted in the article “How to Stop a Power Grab” in the Nov. 16 issue of the New Yorker.
  3. Jack Straton, physics and university studies faculty, won Honorable Mention in a national joint show of fine art, photography and mixed media at the Another Moment in Time Juried Exhibition in Cutchogue, New York, from Oct. 30 through Nov. 10.
