Programs that Engage Students in Undergraduate Research Opportunities

The Center for Internship, Mentoring and Research (CIMR) helps undergraduate students find their way to exciting, hands-on research opportunities at PSU and beyond!

We have several program opportunities that span the biomedical and health sciences, hard sciences, and environmental sciences. If you are new to research, we invite you to take a look at the different focus areas of each program and how they may align with your interests and goals. Please reach out to us if you have any questions or need additional support in finding opportunities that interest you. Programs typically involve a level of field-specific mentoring, professional development opportunities, internships, or research placements.
