Accessibility Committee

Mission Statement

The mission of PSU’s Accessibility Committee is to promote the University’s shared belief in, and responsibility for, providing respect and equity through universal design. This includes best practices for an inclusive environment and advances the awareness of the legal rights of individuals with disabilities.

  • The committee advocates for reducing all barriers including social, communication, education, employment, physical, and electronic barriers for PSU community members with disabilities
  • The committee prioritizes and advocates for funding to make improvements and increase accessibility and inclusion
  • The Accessibility Committee functions as an advisory committee to the Office of Global Diversity and Inclusion as well as the 504/ADA Coordinator
