Parking & Transit Instructions for Visitors to the Portland State Business Accelerator -  
2130 SW 5th Ave, Portland, OR
 

The Portland State Business Accelerator (PSBA) is located at the SEC Building on Portland State University’s campus. Currently, we do not have access to free parking at or near the office.
 

Nearby Public Parking: 

  • Street Parking: Metered parking is available along SW 5th Ave and nearby streets. Pay attention to time limits and payment requirements. Some of the meters are up-to-5 hours parking. 
  • Paid Parking Garages / Lots: 
    • University Place Hotel Parking Garage (310 SW Lincoln St, 5-minute walk) 
    • PSU Parking Structure 3 (1631 SW 12th Ave, 7-minute walk) 
    • 5th Ave Garage (SW 5th & Harrison, 3-minute walk) 
    • Lot 106 (2300 SW 6th Ave, 7-min walk) 
       

Public Transportation & Alternatives: 

  • The MAX Light Rail (Yellow & Green Lines) stops at SW 5th & Mill, just a short walk from the PSBA. 
  • Several TriMet bus lines also serve the area. The primary bus stops nearby are located along SW 5th Avenue (southbound) and SW 6th Avenue (northbound). 
     

Additional Notes: 

  • Parking enforcement is active, so ensure you pay for metered spots and follow garage rules. 
  • Arrive early to find parking, especially during peak hours. 
     

Public Safety: 

  • The PSBA is located at PSU. Portland State University’s Campus Public Safety Office (CPSO) is responsible for safety at and around our building. Should you encounter an issue, please contact CPSO: 
    • Emergency line: 503-725-5911 
    • Non-emergency line: 503-725-4407 
      • The non-emergency line can be used 24/7 for a Campus Safety Escort

Public Transit

The Portland State Business Accelerator is accessible by bus and Portland Streetcar. Visit trimet.org to plan your trip.

Bus

Several TriMet bus lines also serve the area. The primary bus stops nearby are located along SW 5th Avenue (southbound) and SW 6th Avenue (northbound).

Walking from PSU Campus Center

(8 min walk)

  1. Head south on SW Broadway toward SW Harrison St. (394 feet)
  2. Turn left onto SW Hall St.
  3. Walk along SW Hall St. for 0.1 miles and Turn right onto SW 5th Ave. 
  4. Follow SW 5th Ave. for 0.2 miles until you get to 2130 SW 5th Ave. The main entrance for the PSBA is the 2130-C entrance. 

 

Driving from PSU Campus Center

(3 min drive)

  1. From Campus center, drive south on SW Broadway toward SW Harrison St. (138 feet)
  2. Turn left onto SW Harrison St. and travel East (0.3 miles)
  3. Turn right onto SW 5th Ave. and travel South (0.2 miles) 
  4. Slight left to stay on SW 5th Ave. until you reach the PSBA (328 feet)
